Wasted potential for higher caliber gay men

Previous versions got it right: Clean, simple layout, and functional. It promoted civility, honesty, maturity, and interaction. Now its degraded to a Facebook/Grindr wannabe and all the baggage and drama.

Can any app developer just get it right and offer a simple interface, solid underpinnings, reliability, and less pointless BS?
